Menstrual cups
Using a menstrual cup is one way that I feel I’m being feminist in every day life. It takes money out of enormous companies making tampons and pads out of synthetic materials and adding chemicals. Most of which are bad for the vulval/vaginal health of a woman. It’s doing something that’s working in harmony with my body, not trying to suppress and hide it’s natural function. It helps me feel like I’m celebrating and appreciating my womanhood. It helps me to see my blood and become familiar with the way my body behaves.
This love post bought to you by me being ecstatic about my cervical and vaginal explorations producing enough knowledge of my changed anatomy to finally insert my new MeLuna cup and get it positioned correctly.
